Let them scoff their faces!

1. Name: Augustine

2. Nickname: Gus

3. Birthday / Age / Zodiac Sign (No one under 13, please): March 9th/18 (nearly 19!)/Pisces

4. Location: England

5. Three positive adjectives about yourself: Charming, clever, funny

6. Three negative adjectives about yourself:  Greedy, selfish, inability to think of a third

7. Likes: partying, dancing, theatre, film, tv (academically--not as trivial as it sounds :D ), chatting, food, drink, clothes and shoes etc., comics, science fiction, travel, home, university, history

8. Dislikes: early nights, little children, small vocabularies, wearing glasses when I run out of contacts

9. Hobbies and/or Talents: writing, reading, making people laugh, polyglot (5), I play the drums

10. Family or Money: Family
11. Optimistic or Pessimistic: Optimistic
12. Courageous or Cowardly: Courageous
13. Feminine or Masculine: Feminine to look at, masculine for the laughs
14. Seductive or Innocent: Seductive

15. If you could ask Sofia Coppola one question, what would it be?: Why oh why were the Japanese and French DVD releases so fabulous and the UK version so titchy tiny blah?

16. If you could ask Marie-Antoinette or Louis XVI one question, who would you pick and what would the question be?: Seven years, Louis? What the heck was going on?

17. What is your favourite quote from the movie?: Lady at dinner: I think she's delightful. She looks like a little piece of cake.
Second lady: It will be interesting to see how long she lasts.

18. With what character do you identify the most and why?: Duchesse de Polignac. Not  fond of the mud, fun loving, friendly, takes it all in her stride.

19. Who is your favourite character and why?: Madame du Barry. No one was ever going to beat Madame de Pompadour as the King's favourite, she being too fabulous to believe, and then du Barry came along, made enemies of the lot of them, and was still the one he wanted at the end. I believe that those dislikable types who mark themselves out as trouble, or who don't seem to have the time for others, often make the best friends when they pick you. Skewed priorities, but they eat up life.

20. If you were in Marie-Antoinette & Louis XVI's position, how do you think you would try to handle the situation (just before the actual start of the Revolution)?: Money would have stopped being sent to America as early as possible, taxes lowered to appease the French. Probably some kind of propaganda machine for our benefit.

Mental picture! I'm short, curvy, long wavy hair with layers and a cut across fringe, brunette, blue grey eyes. Pale caucasian, long eyelashes, big smile, big lips, decent teeth. I wear a lot of colours and v necks, heels and jewellery. A huge bum and huge boobs. Roman nose.

In my opinion, you seem a lot like Marie Antoinette.

You really capture a lot of what Duchesse de Polignac seems to be. :)
